I use this when teaching theory about cheese. The blank slide is where students find the cards on the making of cheese & write up in their own words. The cards have been shared as a separate resource in TES Resources.
Copy one set for each group of pupils (I usually have 4 per group) Cut out all of the test boxes and then pupils have to create 3 step synthesis routes, including reagents and conditions, as fast as they can. Loads of fun and really shows understanding and gaps in knowledge.
Put the station cards from the PPT file around the room. Students then have copies of the station cards from the word file and have to move around the room completing the cards.
