Pupils cut out cards showing groups of real coins and match them to cards showing the correct total. Each total has more than one valid combination, encouraging pupils to find multiple solutions and deepening their understanding of coin values. Value cards use ten-frame visuals alongside the numeral, providing support for early number sense. Print single-sided and cut — no further preparation required.
