Students get a chance to interpret the events of Bosworth by creating their own battlefield maps.

Students will have some existing knowledge of the Wars of the Roses.

It’s important to stress to students beforehand that there are no precise maps on exactly what took place at Bosworth. Instead historians have to piece together accounts of the battle and draw their own conclusions. The maps they produce will inevitably differ from other members of the class.

The finished map should be done on a clean A3 piece of paper or can be done on a tablet if a stylus is used.
