Used with my HAs in a Year 5/6 class.\nWe went through examples of how to use dashes one at a time, with groups coming up with their own example after each one. I had a follow up worksheet with a set of random story starter pictures. They had to choose a picture and write a sentence using each of the dash styles for that picture. This gathered my afl for individual pupils.
