Descriptive Writing - Spooky Writing [Remote Learning Booklet]

This remote learning booklet encourages students to produce some spooky writing, based on a single image.

Whilst this descriptive writing resource was primarily made for a ‘low-attaining’, KS3 group, (helping them to develop ambitious vocabulary and facilitating their practice of AQA Language Paper 1 - Question 5 skills) this sinister resource can easily be adapted to add extra stretch and challenge opportunities and can even be used to produce some KS4 creative writing.

The booklet consists of:

1. Task = Complete the ‘word bank’ using an online/physical thesaurus.
2. Task = Complete the planning sheet.
3. Task = Spooky writing practice.
