A bingo game designed to help students learn the key vocabulary and definitions used when learning about ecology, ecosystems and feeding relationships between organisms.

Includes the following key terms and definitions:

  1. producer
  2. consumer
  3. predator
  4. prey
  5. carnivore
  6. herbivore
  7. omnivore
  8. ecosystem
  9. organism
  10. population
  11. community
  12. scavenger
  13. decomposer
  14. habitat
  15. food chain
  16. food web

How to Play:

  1. Provide each student with a bingo sheet. Laminate a class set of the bingo sheets if you wish.
  2. Have students circle a set number of words with an erasable white board marker or similar. You can circle more or less words depending on time.
  3. Read out the clues provided and have students place a cross through the circled word.
  4. The first student to get all of the clues raises their hand or shouts “bingo” or both!
