Short practical I made as part of a circus activity for Science Week. Students complete enzyme catalysed hydrogen peroxide decomposition. 2H2O2 --> 2H2O + O2. Students also completed practical using KI as the catalyst. Could be useful for showing the action of enzymes as catalyst. Could adapt to use potato or leaves as source of catalase. I enjoy this practical and good instructions. As an extension you can do it with cooked meat -> denatured enzymes -> less bubbles formed.
