This resource has students how they might add variety and fluency by turning the present simple verbs they use when writing analytically into nouns (e.g. 'suggests' becomes 'suggestion') or by using the present participle ('implies' becomes 'implying').

Another resource is a writing guide for GCSE Drama students with model sentences giving examples of how to employ the analytical language they use in English in Drama. Note that because students are writing about their own dramatic performances or ones they have seen, past tense forms of these analytical verbs are usually favoured.
