Here is a skill based lesson centred (somewhat dubiously) on Good King Wenceslas. I’ve added the maximum amount of nods to Christmas and fun that I could without resorting to actually addressing Christmas or having fun. Feel free to use it if it’s any use to you.

- Starter - Build adjective bank
- Listen to carol
- Map plot of carol
- Read and map the plot of the real Duke Wenceslas
- Write a version of the carol that draws from both versions
- Plenary - Label plot points
