My class find filling in the boxes preferable to making their own posters for revision. Each poster asks for 5 top quotations, key themes, literary choices (writer’s method/poetic devices), a summary, context and an ‘It’s almost as if…’.
The game at the end is for them to make links between the poems without using their notes - I print off and laminate one per pair (they will last forever!).
