EYFS Autumn Counting

This free EYFS maths resource supports early counting skills with an Autumn theme. Practise counting sets of seasonal objects and recording the correct numeral, helping build confidence with number recognition and one‑to‑one correspondence.

The resource includes two differentiated worksheets:

Counting up to 6 objects - count small groups of autumn leaves and pumpkins (quantities 2 to 6) and write the matching numeral.

Counting up to 10 objects - count larger sets of autumn objects (quantities 6 to 10), supporting progression, accuracy, and number recognition to 10.

Both sheets use simple layouts to help children focus on counting while enjoying the seasonal theme.
