Financial Education Board Game

A miniature version of ‘MoneyMoves’ - a board game to practice smart financial decision making.

Ideal for those wet play/golden time moments in Y4/5, we’ve made this a simple-to-play game that allows pupils to explore how planning, self-discipline and a certain amount of luck can influence our financial lives.

To play the game:

• Print a ‘board’ and a set of Surprise Cards for every pair or group of four pupils
• You’ll also need play money, dice and counters
• Give each group of players £5 in play money to start, plus a ‘float’ (around £10 in coins) for them to take from and pay into
• Read the ‘how to play’ instructions as a class
• Get playing!

Who ‘wins’ (i.e. finishes with the most money) is less important than the reflections and decisions pupils make as they go around the board.
