This is a risk assessment for a school visit to the Royal Armouries at Fort Nelson, a restored Victorian fort overlooking Portsdown Hill overlooking Portsmouth. I took a group of KS3 students with SEN but the risk assessment could be adapted for different school groups. This risk assessment should be used as a guide and starting point for you to develop if you are considering taking a school trip to Fort Nelson so teachers will need to adapt it to suit their individual student requirements.
