What will pupils practise?

The sessions use the Point One Learning 5-Point Fluency Routine:

Pupils practise:

• decoding unfamiliar and multisyllabic words
• reading in meaningful phrases
• using punctuation and expression
• understanding and building sentences
• rereading for increasing fluency and confidence

Short Roman history passages allow pupils to develop reading fluency while building useful curriculum knowledge.
