Can your pupils spell their way through a nebula and guide their spaceship home?
I’ve created these resources with KS3&4 SEND learners in mind, combining striking science-fiction visuals with spelling practice and creative activities.
The free download includes:
Space Escape Spell Checker PowerPoint – pupils choose the correct spelling from three options to find their way through the nebula.
Nebula Spelling Maze – follow the white pencil paths, visit three docking stations and write a correctly spelt word at each one to unlock the journey home.
Design Your Own Spaceship – a matching back page with plenty of room to draw, colour, label and name a spaceship.
Spaceship colouring picture – an extra creative activity included in the PowerPoint.
The maze works with your own weekly spelling words, making it easy to reuse. The two-page PDF is ready to print in A4 landscape.
