- each phonics storybook is 5 pages long (print to one A3 each)
- build slowly from phrases to short sentences across series
- progressive phrase building eg:
a cat/ a red hat/ a red hat on a cat...
- repetition of words (and characters) from one book to the next to reinforce previous learning
