‘The lost chapter’ enables GCSE students to use their imagination; writing an opening to a creative story of a lost chapter in Macbeth. After having read Act 1 of Macbeth; they get to recreate a chapter by think about the events which took place in Act 1. Thus, continuing the story on!
This task can easily be used as an effective homework task or even a self-study task. With clear guidance and a success criteria; GCSE students can start practising exam styled questions, specifically Language paper 1, question 5!
