Split the class into 2 teams, each team gets 5/4/3/2/1 points depending on how many guesses they need to discover the celebrity - pupils then create their own examples in pairs for another pair to guess. The best can then be shared with the class.
Pupils love these and a great way to promote lateral thinking. Each square contains a word or phrase with visual clues as to what it is. The number of letters in each word of the phrase is contained underneath. In a similar way to ‘Catchphrase’ - Say what you see One stipulation, you must use the phrase: it’s a good answer but not right! =)
A collection of resources (adapted from the Deadinburgh activity) where pupils are challenged to identify the microbe causing the recent zombie plague sweeping across Bristol. Pupils read information from 'The Stun' newspaper to identify methods of infection, symptoms, types of microbes and possible cures.
A weekly form/registration 40 page document for every week of the year consisting of a weekly 'thought for the week', 5 factoids for the week so students will have 1 a day, prayer for the week based on the theme for that week, every week will also have a reflection activity consisting of resources and video clips based on the weekly theme and a weekly moral story plus a reflection time box.
