I always introduce vocabulary from a book to the children before we read the book. This helps them to learn new words and meanings and also helps with their fluency as they already know the word before they read it. It also helps them put the word in context.

You can also look at these words simply as parts of speech - verbs, or any other spelling patterns that you may be focusing on in class.
