This KS1 resource includes a unique song that tells you how to wash your hands as you do it! It consists of two sessions using a variety of methods to stimulate learning around an important but simple topic. The first session introduces microbes, and explores how some can make you ill. The second session builds on this and promotes an effective hand washing routine through a bespoke song. The sessions are based around a dynamic PowerPoint, which includes discussion points, a game, and worksheet. Suggested extension activities and helpful resources are also included.
