Handwriting Font - Perfect Primary OG

As a primary school teacher, I kept running into the same problem: I couldn’t find a font that fully matched the letterforms young children are taught to write in UK classrooms.

So I hand-drew my own. Shaped by countless conversations with fellow primary teachers, this typeface was created with teaching and learning at its heart. Every letter was carefully considered, with a focus on legibility, clean lines and consistent proportions to support early readers and writers.

Handwriting approaches vary between schools and regions, but my aim is simple: to offer a clear, practical font that feels at home in your classroom, from lesson slides and worksheets to displays and labels.

The font includes regular, bold, italic and light styles.

For the best results, enable kerning in your software settings, where available, to give letters their intended spacing.
