This is a resource that I created for my Year 10 IGCSE English B students, but could work for many different year groups or exam boards.
The resources are loosely based on advice from articles on Gizmodo and Writer’s Edit (unable to provide link here), and the examples are taken from stories by authors such as Roald Dahl, Gabriel Garcia Marquez and other. All quotes come with the name of the story and the author.
