Human induced environmental changes in Afghanistan - a change over time study

Recognition of changes to environment over time using written material connected with a series of diagrams. The diagrams can be projected for observation and discussion. As population increases in the area the valley, mountain and lake uses change. Students can recognise the changes and give reasons why they occur. This unit has use from upper-primary to mid-secondary levels. Look into the landscape via the diagrams. List the changes and, with your students, work out why these changes have occurred.
