A simple but very effective sheet which I pieced together to help my students improve their written work for IB Papers 2 and 3. It really does help and I have found the number of students achieving Levels 6 and 7 has increased in my classes since I began using this approach.

Nice in as far as it goes but there are other ways to answer essays in extended writing. This one size fits all approach won't benefit all students especially those who speak English as an additional language. But a handy template, four stars.

Hello. I'm glad you can make use of this free resource. I haven't suggested there is a one size fits all approach to essay writing and of course students will produce their work differently ... but I created this (in conjunction with some v high achieving IB Historians) to help guide students who might find it useful when constructing Paper 2/3 responses.
