In this activity, students will examine how Britain’s Industrial Revolution transformed manufacturing, power production and transport from the mid-18th century onward. They will also explore the key inventors and technologies that drove these changes and consider how improvements in steam power, textile production and infrastructure made Britain the dominant trading nation of its era.

It has 10 questions for students to answer, as well as a paragraph response section for them to demonstrate their understanding of the topic.
