Intro to Gothic: The Raven

<p>This was an activity that went over really well with my students. We read Poe’s poem ‘The Raven’; watched the Simpsons version; and then the students were asked to create their own dramatic performance of the poem; which we recorded and screened. Took two lessons Aligned to Common Core Standard: SL.6.1, SL.6.a, SL.6.b, SL.6.c, SL.6.d, SL.6.2, SL.7.1d, SL.7.2, SL.8.1d, SL.8.2</p>
