This resource is to help students improve their evaluation skills by giving them sentence starters and ideas to include during their assessments of their own and others' work. This mat includes some of the elements of music and a definition to assist with this process and encourage students to use musical terminology. As the years develop, so do the key words and their definitions. The KS3 mats are simple and aimed towards the evaluation of performances and the KS4 mat is geared towards the current OCR GCSE Music key terms and ideas.
