This is a short reading comprehension activity, in a KS2 SATS style, about the Ancient Greek story ‘The Sword of Damocles’.
It is good for literacy in year 5, year 6, year 7, year 8 and possibly year 9, and for discussions about power. Questions are included, along with an answer sheet that children can write on, arranged in a SATs format.
