Bringing science into the classroom through storytelling.
Join us on our third storytelling adventure with Alberto the waved albatross as he returns to the tiny island of Española from the great open ocean. Here he will be reunited with his lifelong partner Isabela, where they take on the challenge of rearing a new chick. Children will learn of the obstacles they face, including plastic pollution and industrial fishing, and how our positive actions can make a difference.
A set of engaging, cross-curricular resources support and enhance key themes from the story.
You can find further resources on our Discovering Galapagos teacher zone site.
