This is a complete lesson on refraction that I prepared for a Y8 class.
Starter task refreshes reflection using a ray box and mirrors to guide light around an obstacle course. Introduce the idea of refractions followed by a practical investigation. PPT uses the idea of a car driving across mud to explain refraction. Key words are introduced and a DoodleScience clip gives some practical uses of refraction.

Includes a PowerPoint, Lesson Plan and HomeWork Sheet.

Excellent resource - great animation of the car. With a little tweeking of the animation settings you can get it to be a smooth transition start to finish without stopping. Thank you!
