This is a complete lesson on temperature gradients that I prepared for a Y9 class.

Starter activity to discuss what is going to happen to my mug of coffee. The we revisit the Leslie Cube from a previous lesson but this time using a temperature probe as there had been some disagreement amongst students as to the temperature of various sides. The ideas behind temperature gradients and equilibrium are then introduced followed
by some thinking exercises (penguins, cups of coffee in Summer and Winter). There are then some questions to work through recapping conduction, convection and radiation.

Includes a PowerPoint, Lesson Plan and Worksheet.
