This is a complete lesson on conservation of momentum and in paricular
explosions that I prepared for a Y10 class. A follow on to a previous lesson on conservation of momentum. Worked examples on the PPT were used to reinforce the previous lesson. Momentum being conserved in explosions was then introduced and several worked examples were
completed by the class. Finally the idea of rate of change of momentum was discussed and tied into force via Newton’s second law.

Includes a PowerPoint and Lesson Plan.
