This is a bit specific but I wanted to prepare something for a couple of my students who were having trouble with the concept of calculating wavelength using the number of half-wavelengths in a standing wave on a length of string.

It’s not a full lesson by any means but might be useful in explaining the concept o

λ = 2L/n

where
L = length of string
n = number of half-wavelengths on the string
λ = wavelenght of standing wave
