I have used this with my Reception parents as a means of parents building their own scrap book of activities they do at home to help me further assess and understand their child. I never mark them but ask for them in from time to time to share with the class. I also include the document things to include.

I really like this, but don't know where to use it - at induction meeting (already too much to take in) or in September (I also do a 'reading meeting'). Would be interested to hear your view.
