Three complete worksheet-and-teacher-note pairs in this free 10-page sample from Literacy Basics: Writing Sentences.

Signs and Symbols asks students to interpret images in a modern city. Pronouns explores avoiding repeated nouns by using subject and object pronouns. Nouns uses an illustrated story with hieroglyphs and written words. All three activities have accompanying teachers’ notes.

The sample also includes the title, introduction, contents and an original literacy-support guidance page. The material is intended particularly for average to below-average KS3 learners in English or learning support.

The full 64-page pack contains 27 illustrated activities with teachers’ notes, moving from parts of speech and sentence structure to phrases, clauses and writing for different purposes. Recurring Ancient Egyptian characters provide the visual context.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond this sample. Original historical curriculum references are retained without a claim of current alignment.
