Slideshow of various literary inspired tattoos . I haven't used this yet - but I thought I might get groups to design a tattoo using a phrase or image from whole class text. Year 8, working on Shakespeare , year 9 on WW1 poetry. But I think the images themselves will generate some powerful class discussion , before we get started planning the task.

Interesting idea. I guess students would then consider what literary quotation that might have put on them and why. This could be incorporated into lessons on the importance of literature. Thanks for sharing this resource.
