Magnet Boy and his Dog

This activity requires a strip of magnet cut into pieces. Making this demonstration requires the children to first assemble and color in various pieces. It involves pictures of a dog, a bone, a kennel, string and pieces of steel or metal. Instructions included but basically attach the magnet and string to the dog and a small metal piece to the bone. Draw the dog out of the kennel by pulling the string, get the bone (the magnet attracts the metal piece) and draw the dog back to the kennel with the bone.
