Three complete worksheet-and-teacher-note pairs in this free 10-page sample from Managing Homework for KS3 and KS4.

Why Homework? explores reasons for homework and the qualities of a good assignment. The Home Environment considers distractions and possible solutions. Asking Questions introduces open and closed questions through a questionnaire activity. Each worksheet includes teachers’ notes.

The sample also contains the title, introduction, contents and general teaching guidelines. Activities can support tutorial work or subject lessons, helping students discuss and improve their homework habits.

The full 59-page pack contains 26 worksheet-and-note pairs on organisation, priorities, research, copying, support, homework worries, diaries and presentation, plus three appendix sheets.

The preview images illustrate the full pack and include pages beyond the sample. This is the original 1998 publication; technology examples and historical policy context are retained without a claim of current alignment.
