This resource is designed to introduce pupils to the concept of addition, specifically adding one more to a group and counting the total. Answers are within the range of 0 -10.
Instructions: Pupils count the mushrooms then draw one more mushroom in the box. They then count how many mushrooms altogether and write their answer on the line in the circle.
- Can be used as an independent task or as part of a rotation
- Opportunity to practise fine motor and drawing skills as well as Numeracy skills
