Our writing process, each pencil has each stage of our writing process and what happens in each to help children know and internalise the way we write something (not just a story, this could be anything!) the idea is just to take each stage slowly and spend time doing it. Allowing children to know they can make mistakes and it doesn’t need to be perfect the first time round as we have many stages before we publish etc! This could also be helpful if the children are having a go at writing some of their own stories from the book corner activities and would like to plan it out themselves!
I made some smaller ones for tables/individuals and then a larger one with an arrow to show where we are. This will probably be up next to my English working wall!
The arrow is attached to a peg so it can be moved easily from stage to another.
