this power point should cover all the relevant criteria that is on the new OCR scheme. it might be worth printing some additional information sheets to help the pupils on the main task. State how energy is transferred by the electromagnetic radiation (Grade D) Describe how the energy of photons is linked to frequency. (Grade C) Explain the factors which determine the energy transferred to an absorber by a beam of electromagnetic radiation. (Grade B) Explain how intensity of electromagnetic radiation decreases with distance from the source.
