This is a set of resources that I created/adapted for use with a Yr 8 class who were revising photosynthesis. Included is a ppt that I use with the class - getting them to write answers on mini whiteboards as I go through it. Summary worksheet that I use as a starter, then a puzzle to use as a plenary (print out slides onto A4 sheets then cut them out and give them to groups to complete)

On each side of the triangles are either questions/answers or starts of sentence/end of sentences. The students have to match up the small triangles to make one large one by ensuring that all matching sides make sense. I usually give one set of cards to 3 students to work together to solve - I have printed out multiple sets onto coloured card and cut out so can use them multiple times. I find it a very effective way of assessing knowledge as well as the weaker students learning from the stronger students in their group.
