This is a resource I created as a lesson with a year 9 group exploring poetic terminology. This introduces them to the ideas behind poetic voice and personas, getting them to think initially about what they might mean with some examples, before exploring how to use the devices in a creative task in which students try to discover their own poetic voice.
I have also added in a homework task as well based around writing poems as a persona, however you may wish to carry it on into the lesson itself.
