A resource that encourages students to reflect on the representation of minority groups in the media - specifically focusing on the positive representation of BAME people.

Activities are designed to stimulate discussion and allow for collaborative working and reflection. It will be useful if you can provide current newspapers/ media resources to allow young people to explore the types of representation they can find.

This resource works particularly well with the accompanying magazine which you can also download for free at www.dualfrequency.co.uk

Good slides on how minority groups are represented. Suitable for Yr 8 and upwards I think. I'm using in FE setting. Easy to follow and understand. Clear and colourful images.
