A free resource for Year 6 teachers to support the assessment of primary science. These Quick Quizzes can be used in the classroom or for homework tasks to provide an additional opportunity for children to demonstrate their understanding of the Year 6 science topics.

There are five Quick Quizzes for Year 6 that link to the curriculum areas:

Forces and magnets
Light
Animals including humans
Rocks
Plants

These resources were previously available on the Leamington Spa Ogden Partnership TES account and were developed by a partnership of ten schools to support their teachers in making assessment decisions with the introduction of the new curriculum. The questions are based on past science SATS questions. We hope that they may be of use to other teachers in their assessment planning, after much feedback we have now included an answer sheet for extra teacher guidance.

Thanks to the Ogden Trust for their support in developing this resource to share.

These are great. Just wondering if you have an editable word version at all?

Looks like a great resource. Will be trialling this to see what teachers think. I'd be keen to get hold of a word document version rather than PDF, so that changes or additions could be made. Is this possible?
