I have made this resource for my low ability Y10 class who are struggling with the difference between pyramids of numbers and biomass. Use the grids on the powerpoint to help the pupils draw their pyramids and also explain what is happening.

Overall, good resource; but the biomass of the insects is unrealistic and should be reviewed.
I used it as a lead-in for the higher classes - excellent resource - many thanks for sharing.
