This Remembrance Day themed art activity explores the four different colours of poppies that are currently in use (red black, purple and white) .
Children will first learn about the colour and meaning of each poppy before designing their own version which could be used to represent all groups.

Once designed the poppies could be cut out and made into a wreath or other display.

I have successfully used this worksheet with years 3,4, 5 and 6 but it could also be used with younger and older children too.

Only minimal art supplies are needed- pencils, erasers and something to colour with.
