This is a free sample with two fully-working interactive coaching sessions, plus the complete introductory lessons and assessments for all 30 techniques. Find the complete course here.

Designed for AQA GCSE English Language (8700) but applicable to most other boards, this resource comes in three parts:

  1. Introductory module. Classroom slides to present each of the 24 creative writing techniques needed for Paper 1 Question 5, along with examples of their use in literature. The hide/show feature engages curiosity and stimulates discussion.
  2. Student revision app. Use in class or for homework. Students practise the technique you have set and get realtime feedback from their own preferred AI. They are encouraged to repeat and refine their writing until they have mastered the technique. In the demo version, the first two coaching sessions are fully enabled.
  3. Assessment module. Guided assessments for each technique, with options pitched at different ability levels.

The three modules together create a teach | revise | assess sequence for you to teach creative writing techniques. The free sample includes selected student app content and the full introductory and assessment modules.
