Contains (rough) outline of lessons, powerpoint, some cards with facts about the planets and a factsheet for students to fill in, a moon phases flickbook and a space game with counters. It is all aimed at low level year 7s (level 1-4) that I teach in small withdrawal groups. Feel free to comment - all feedback gratefully received!
Lovely animation showing food passing through the digestive system. I didn't make this, but when I found it, I just wanted to share!
Mentions different enzymes and locations of different organs in the digestive system. Very child-friendly visuals and language.
Contains brief outline of lessons (although this is geared to me so might not make much sense to anyone else!), powerpoint with links to videos, and pupil worksheets and wordsearch. Aimed at SEN students completing the OCR entry level science course.
Covers: structure of the earth, tectonic theory, earthquakes, volcanoes, tsunamis...
Low level unit on cells. Included is the booklet for the unit, supporting documents/files, and an outline lesson order (not detailed plans though). I've created it to use with two SEN year 7 groups (p8 - level 2) this year.
This is for a 100 minute lesson, but there are two tasks which could be split over two 50 min lessons.
The Timeline Poster is one activity and the Darwin text based activity is the second activity.
The text may be too textual for low ability or low reading age students, my low reading age group had an LSA and they were ACE!
