A fun, interactive lesson (which does involve chocolate or sherbet lemons) to encourage students to extend their descriptions when writing sensory language. Works well across all year groups really.

I used T. S. Eliot's poem Preludes as a challenge for my GCSE group, as an unseen stretch and challenge exercise.
